We are looking for a Mid-weight Visual Designer to join our team of problem finders and solvers. You will drive creative output through every stage of different projects, ranging from branding, packaging, publication, UI/UX and digital design. You will create and curate ideas and apply design-thinking across all stages of creative problem solving. Workshops & presentations excite you and you are not afraid to argue your opinions. Responsibilities
As a part of this role, you will:
- Create boundary-pushing identity systems and brand applications in a collaborative environment
- Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team and driving the vision and planning of all aspects of the team’s visual deliverables
- Think creatively to produce new ideas that contribute to objectives of different projects
- Research competitors, trends, patterns and best-practices, visual design inspiration and industry insights
- Lead or contribute to projects across brand creation, rebrands, and other creative challenges
- Participate in discovery activities: workshops, research, interviews, client meetings
- Develop and present unique, innovative and strategic concepts and communication solutions clearly and effectively in a timely manner
- Coordinate design delivery across the project, ensuring that work gets delivered on time to a high standard
- Work closely with developers in UI/UX projects where you will map user flows, create wireframes, explore and design interfaces supported by usability testing and ensure effective deployment
Must-haves
- 3-5 years experience as a Graphic Designer or similar at a design studio or creative agency
- Demonstrated understanding of how to connect strategy to creative work
- Passionate and persuasive presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire
